Photo & DescriptionThe Chinhoyi Caves Recreation Park, near the town of Chinhoyi, is considered one of the most stunning places in Zimbabwe, offering a wide variety of activities for young tourists. Visitors can take advantage of the camping and picnic area. The caves themselves are located on the road to Lake Kariba, about 130 km. northwest of Harare. There is a giant natural mine, 30 meters in diameter and 45 meters deep. At the depth of the mine there is a lake with crystal clear water, the depth of which, as many divers have proved, reaches 100 m.
