The unique city park in the town of Sandanski is a real magnet for tourists who prefer a quiet, relaxing holiday close to nature. It is located at the end of the main pedestrian street in Macedonia. The park, opened in 1981, bears the old name of the city - Sveti Vrach. It is the only park in Bulgaria with sandy alleys and, along with the Sea Garden in Varna, one of the largest in the country.

The City Park in Sandanski has become home to over one hundred species of trees and one hundred and fifty species of flowers. Here grow slender cedars and sequoias, old plane trees, willows, pines, pomegranates, figs, geraniums, various types of roses, etc. Some of the specimens presented are rare. There are benches along the paths.

In addition to natural attractions, the park has a number of leisure facilities. For young visitors, there are specially equipped playgrounds with swings and slides. The summer theater regularly hosts performances, and once a year you can see performances by participants in the author's song "Pirin Folk" and the Balkan youth festival "Mladostta on the Balkanite". In addition, the park has a stadium, an outdoor swimming pool and a small artificial lake, there are wooden gazebos. It is a great place to relax with friends or family.
