In 1881, the mayor of the city, Mikhail Koloni, raised the issue of creating a seaside park. As a result, a small park at that time was laid out along the coast, in which more than a hundred trees were planted, as well as footpaths. In 1894, at the request of the mayor's office, the architect Anton Novak was invited to the city, thanks to whom Primorsky the park received the status of one of the most beautiful in Bulgaria.
