The first season of the theater was opened by the vaudeville "Love in Three", which to this day is a great success on stage and is the mascot of the troupe. Soon the studio separated from "Secret" and became an independent theater, which received the official name "Theater of Satire on Vasilievsky Island" (St. Petersburg Drama Theater on Vasilyevsky). From that day on, Vladimir Slovokhotov headed the team, becoming the permanent head of the theater.
Famous directors successfully cooperate with the troupe of the theater on Vasilievsky: Roman Viktyuk, Rezo Gabriadze, Igor Larin and others.
