The Kunsthaus, aka the House of Arts, in Zurich is one of the most important art museums in Switzerland. He is known all over the world. The museum was opened in 1910. The first exhibitions were held thanks to the local art society, which provided the museum with their own collections.

The building was designed by Karl Moser and Robert Kuriel. The museum's collection includes significant collections of works by Edvard Munch (12 paintings) and Alberto Giacometti. Swiss art is represented by works by Johann Heinrich Fusli, Ferdinand Hodler, as well as Pipilotti Rist and Peter Fischli. Here, to this day, exhibitions of the highest level are regularly held.

The variety of eras presented in the works available here is striking, but it does not make an imbalance in the impression. Particular attention is paid to Swiss art. The Kunsthaus became famous thanks to works belonging to the era of modernism, the authors of which are such artists as Claude Monet, Edvard Munch, Alberto Giacometti, Vincent van Gogh, Pablo Picasso, etc. There are also some works of the era of modern times.
