On the banks of the picturesque Syamozero in South Karelia, there is a one-of-a-kind unique Zoo complex "Three Bears". The zoo complex began work in 2004. It differs from ordinary zoos in that it is located in a Karelian forest 60 km from the city of Petrozavodsk. The territory of the zoo complex includes an area of 3 hectares in an untouched wild forest. Here animals live in pens and cages, although they are in the natural conditions of the Karelian forest reserve. In addition, all animals receive fast qualified medical assistance, as well as real and sincere care of employees and people in love with their work.

The raccoons are especially delighted with the visitors of the complex, from which one cannot expect monkey behavior, because they are very curious and tirelessly play and climb everywhere. A considerable number of people also love bears, because there are few places where you can look at these impressive animals so closely.

Zoo complex "Three Bears" is a scientific and exposition ecological complex, and its task is not to constantly invade the wild, but to provide an opportunity to explore and see all the charm of the Karelian forest and its various inhabitants residents and guests of the Karelian Republic.
