It is located next to the river station on Chekhov Street, on the left bank of the Barnaulka River, slightly east of Bavarin Square. The temple was consecrated in honor of the Kazan Icon of the Most Holy Theotokos of the Old Believers-Pomors. The old church of the Barnaul community was closed in the 1930s. After a while, the temple was completely destroyed. Later, the services were held in an adapted building. However, in 1997, the city authorities decided to transfer a two-storey brick house built at the beginning of the 20th century to the Barnaul Pomor community.
