Morskoe Oko is the largest mountain lake in the Polish Tatras. Its depth is 53 meters, the area is more than 35 hectares. It is revered by the Poles as well as by the Russians - Lake Baikal.

The lake of stunning beauty is surrounded by a national park with views of mountain landscapes and mountain streams, with asphalt paths and many trails of varying difficulty. There is a buffet with a bar on the shore. From here you can climb to the upper lake Cherni Stavu, and even higher - to Mount Rysi, the very top of the Tatras, 2499m high.
