Photo and description

The Old Town Hall is located on the central square of the Old Town. The building was built at the end of the 15th century, but was badly damaged during the Second World War and was almost completely rebuilt.

The main hall of the Town Hall (sometimes called the Dance Hall) with a magnificent wooden ceiling decorated with a wooden frieze is a special pride. The frieze shows 87 coats of arms made by craftsmen at the end of the 15th century.

Four floors of the building are occupied by the Toy Museum. Check out the extensive collection of dolls, toy trains, teddy bears and carousels here.
