The Summer Amphitheater is the main concert venue of the international festival of arts "Slavyansky Bazar". The festival is held annually, every summer for exactly one week.

Such an unusual summer auditorium was built for the 1987 Polish Song Festival. Its capacity today is 6,219 seats, divided into 9 sectors. Stage area 430 square meters. The author of the project is architect V.A. Babashkin.

The construction site of the Summer Amphitheater was chosen for a reason. It was built in a natural depression where a ravine used to be. The slopes of the former ravine reliably protect the Summer Amphitheater from the noise of the city and, on the contrary, the sounds of music from the Summer Amphitheater do not disturb those wishing to relax.

The amphitheater did not acquire its present appearance at once. In 2007, an unusual openwork structure was erected over the open stage and the auditorium - a "visor" that protects the performing artists and spectators from bad weather. The number of seats was increased, general reconstruction and repair of the amphitheater was carried out.

The height of the openwork roof over the summer amphitheater is 25 meters, the length of the arch it forms is 120 meters. The structure consists of 18,000 metal rods held together by 3,000 metal balls. An artistic block is located behind the stage. This is a four-story building with all the necessary equipment for artists: dressing rooms, technical and administrative rooms. Here in 2007 the Maestro cafe with 60 seats was opened for artists.
