After 1915, the first hydropathic establishments began to appear here, in which the healing properties of the famous mineral water were used. This became possible thanks to the efforts of the outstanding military doctor and public figure of the Mirgorod region, the actual state councilor and general from infantry I. Zubkovsky, who discovered the healing potential of local mineral water in the fight against diseases of the musculoskeletal system and digestive organs.
