The Grand Royal Palace is located on the extraordinarily beautiful square of Barcelona - Plaza de la King and is a complex of several buildings. The palace was built in the 11th century and existed for a long time as the residence of the counts of Barcelona, and later the kings of Aragon.

The architectural complex of the Great Royal Palace includes the Chapel of St. Agatha, which houses the wooden altar of the three kings, created in 1465 by the artist Jaime Uge and recognized as a true masterpiece of Catalan Gothic, the Tower of King Martin, which is part of the Viceroy's Palace. attached to the Great Royal Palace, and the Palace itself was built in the 11th century.
