Photo and descriptionThe Cinema Actor Theater is a theater that was created in Moscow by order of the Council of People's Commissars of the USSR in December 1943. It was supposed to function as a laboratory in which film actors and directors would be brought up, and the process of staging performances was a method of preparing for filming. The theater is located in a building built in 1931-1935. The authors of the building project were the Vesnin brothers, architects. The building was used as a cultural center for political prisoners.
