The creation of this obelisk dates back to the 16th century BC. The obelisk was installed on a special marble pedestal. The pedestal was decorated with images of various scenes in which the emperor took part. The installation of the Egyptian obelisk was also depicted on the pedestal. The Egyptian obelisk was created from Aswan granite of a white-pink hue. It contains Egyptian hieroglyphs and images of Pharaoh Thutmose III and the god Amun Ra.
