Igalo is the largest Mediterranean health and tourism center, located just 7 kilometers from the city.

The building of the City Archives was built in 1885. After a strong earthquake in 1979, the building was badly damaged, after which it was restored. Nowadays, the City Archive has the most modern equipment, as well as a library with about 30 thousand books. Here you can also see the old archive, which was created in the 17th century.

Spagliola Fortress was built on top of a hill in the middle of the 16th century. From the top of the hill there is an excellent view of the bay.

The city is also worth visiting the Art gallery, Local history museum and City Park, which is home to about a hundred different plants, as well as a wide variety of mimosa species.

In winter, the city hosts the "Mimosa Festival", which lasts for a whole month.

The city is home to many restaurants, bars and cafes. There is also a large number of shops where you can buy excellent souvenirs.

Mamula Island

Mamula Island is located at the very entrance to the Boka Kotorska Bay. The island has a lighthouse, Austro-Hungarian fortress and the famous Blue Cave. The island also has one of the most excellent beaches in Montenegro - Zanjic, which is surrounded by dense olive groves.
