Alinda is an ancient city located south of Aydin on a huge rock above the Chine valley.

It was in this city in 334 BC that the headquarters of Tsar Alexander the Great was located. Here he was before the siege of Halicarnassus. The Queen of Hell, exiled to Alinda, was able to make friends with the great king, and was subsequently appointed by him the ruler of Caria.

A part of the defensive wall, an open agora, a theater with galleries, a three-storey palace complex, have been preserved in the city to this day, a two-storey tower, around which one can observe partially destroyed tunnels and the mouths of underground cisterns. If you walk along the ridge to the west, you can go to the ancient cemetery and the ruins of the acropolis.
