The 3 main ski areas include about 160 kilometers of ski slopes of any difficulty and about 30 kilometers of marked cross-country skiing tracks. Here is the longest cable car in Austria and the steepest slope in the country's ski resorts. The ski area Ahorn in the resort is ideal for children and beginners alike. In this area, there is a children's playground with a variety of entertainment programs and games. The site includes several ski schools for children, as well as mini golf. Penken Ski Area more suitable for experienced skiers and professionals.  Lift to Penken Half an hour drive separates Meirhofen from Tuxer Glacier, where skiing is possible all year round. Burton Park Mayrhofen offers many opportunities for snowboarding and freestyle. There are areas for beginners, amateurs and professionals, trampolines, rails and much more. The park has its own ski lift. There are 5 ski schools and about 50 ski lifts in Mayrhofen. For lovers of outdoor activities in the resort there are such types of entertainment as rock climbing, snowshoeing, curling, hot air ballooning, descent from the mountain by parachute, horse riding and sledding, indoor tennis courts, water park, bowling alley and archery. From December to mid-March, an ice rink located near the water park is flooded in Mayrhofen. There is also another fairly large artificial skating rink that can be used even at temperatures above zero. There are about 800 hotels and boarding houses in Mayrhofen.  Panorama from the lift The resort has about 30 restaurants, many cafes, bars, nightclubs, discos and casinos. Sports equipment can be bought in numerous shops. The prices are the same as in Moscow stores, but in some places you can find out-of-fashion models, which often have fairly large discounts. Before and after the ski season, the shops often hold sales, during which the goods also become noticeably cheaper. AttractionsThe resort has such attractions as Brandberg Watermill, built in the 18th century, a distillery where you can taste, or even purchase, a drink such as schnapps, Zillertal cheese dairy. In the Zillertal there is the old manor Strasser Hoisl. Tours are often organized around the estate, which tell about the history of the building and the events that happened to its inhabitants.
