Location

Khao Lak is a secluded resort in Phang Nga province, Thailand. It is located 80 km from Phuket Island on the Andaman Sea coast. The territory of the resort is surrounded by national parks.

You can get to Khao Lak by car from Phuket Island. The road will take about 40-50 minutes.

The relief of the resort is not uniform. The mountains here unexpectedly end with waterfalls, and the rocky coastline smoothly passes through endless beaches with fine white sand. The dense mango jungle untouched by human hands, the rich underwater world of the resort make Khao Lak an ideal place for diving and ecotourism.

Climate

The island is located in a zone of two climatic zones. Weather fluctuations in most of the resort are typical for the tropical climate of the savanna, but in some regions they obey the tropical monsoon type.

The seasons of Koa Lak can be roughly divided into 3 seasons: hot (March - May), rainy (June - October) and cool (November - February). The average annual air temperature is kept at + 28 ° C.
