Cirakan Palace in Turkey, Istanbul resort
Rating: 7,7/10 (337 votes)  Cirakan Palace (Ciragan) is located in a picturesque area, where the Kazancioglu Park was once widespread. The palace was built and then rebuilt over the decades in the 18th century by various architects, but the construction was completed in 1867 by the famous Turkish masters Sarkis and Hakob Balyan. Chirakan Palace and Yildiz Palace were connected by a bridge, during the construction which marble was used. From the side of the Bosphorus, a beautiful gate to the Chirakan Palace was installed. This palace was not destined to become the permanent residence of Turkish rulers, and at the beginning of the 20th century it was almost completely destroyed by fire.
