Rating: 7,8/10 (200 votes)  This stone monastery was built by Christians in the 13th century in the Ihlara canyon. The monks did all the huge work by hand. Columns are especially scrupulous in the largest rooms. There used to be frescoes on the walls, but only a few of them have survived to this day.       We also recommend reading Vale.
