On its territory there are 48 mountain peaks exceeding 2000 meters, 5 canyons, an abundance of clean lakes, mountain springs and one and a half century trees. In winter, Durmitor transforms into a wonderful ski resort with slopes of various difficulty levels. The territory of the mountain range is crossed by the Tara River Canyon.
