Geography


Lapland in the   broad sense of the word is a geographical and   cultural region located in Northern Europe. The region has never   was a part of any one state; at   currently, it is   divided between Russia (Kola Peninsula), Finland, Sweden and   Norway.

Lapland itself belongs to Finland.

Lapland is located on the   plateau, where in   south -the eastern part there are many river valleys and   mountain gorges, and the   northern and   spurs of the Kelen ridge.

You can get to   Lapland by   plane, train or bus from   the capital of Finland   - Helsinki.
