Christ Church College is often found in literature, such as Evelyn's Return to Brideshead, Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland. Also on the territory of the college were filming episodes of films, such as the film adaptation of Philip Pullman's"The Golden Compass" and books by J.K. Rowling about Harry Potter.
