Hospital of the Holy Spirit in Germany, Lubeck resort
Rating: 7,6/10 (2039 votes)  The Hospital of the Holy Spirit is a popular tourist attraction in Lübeck. The hospital was built with donations from city merchants in 1280. Today, the hospital is one of the best preserved medieval buildings in Central Europe. The hospital operated until 1970. In the western part of the complex you can see the hospital church, built in 1286, decorated with frescoes `` Almighty Lord '' and Christ and Madonna enthroned, as well as late Gothic altar figures. The Hospital of the Holy Spirit, along with other medieval buildings in the historic center of Lübeck, is on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
