Hamoud Pasha Mosque in Tunis, Tunis resort
Rating: 8,0/10 (190 votes)  The Hamud Pasha Mosque was erected in the 17th century, when the Turks dominated Tunisia. Its architecture is a prime example of the so-called Muslim Baroque. The mosque is decorated with an octahedral minaret. Influence of Italian architecture can be traced in the elements that adorn the mihrab niche and in the decoration of the capitals of the prayer hall.
