Deira in the UAE, Dubai resort
Rating: 9,3/10 (4569 votes)  Deira is one of the historic quarters of Dubai. It is located on the right bank of the Creek, which divides Dubai into two parts. Deira is linked to the neighboring Bastakiya by one tunnel and four bridges. Deira is crossed by a highway that connects the capital of the emirate of Sharjah and downtown Dubai. This area is home to popular large shopping malls (Al Ghurair City and Deira City Center), budget-friendly city hotels, colorful markets - the gold market, spice market, perfume market, indoor market, and is also known for winding narrow streets, which are restaurants and cozy cafes. Rigga street is especially popular, which is a boulevard with many boutiques and restaurants with Arabic, European, Russian and Lebanese cuisine. The street begins with the large Al Ghurair department store, runs along the bay, and ends with a magnificent park where you can relax by the pool or on the beach, spend time with children on the rides or sit in a bar. Another a very favorite place for tourists is the gold bazaar. It is renowned for its masterpieces of jewelry, with the lowest gold prices in the world. Deira is home to Dubai International Airport and airline offices.
