Cueva de Los Verdes in Spain, Canary Islands resort
Rating: 8,1/10 (421 votes)  This cave – the main attraction of the island of Lanzarote. It is located in the northern part of the island, under the Korona volcano. This cave is the largest lava cave in the world. Its total length is – approximately 5 kilometers. The height of some halls is 15 meters, and the width is – 24 meters. The cave was formed when molten basalt from a side volcanic crater flowed under a solidified and cooled layer of lava, flowing into the sea.
