It houses the church of the same name, which, along with the square, is a historical and cultural heritage of the 15th century. The square was created during the expansion of the city to the west. The area was marked with three architectural monuments – the churches of Gesu Nuovo and Santa Chiara, and the spire of the Virgin of the Immaculate.
