Saint Reparata, the patroness of Nice, died a martyr's death in Palestine and, according to legend, her body was transferred by angels to the Bay of Nice, as her name recalls - Bay of Angels. And the cathedral named in her honor constantly reminds of Reparat itself. The interior of the cathedral is made in the Baroque style; it amazes with its luxury and wealth. Outside, the cathedral is decorated with the coats of arms of the Princes of Savoy, niches and medallions, and is crowned with a beautiful tiled roof. The cathedral acquired its modern look in 1576, the only addition is – a bell tower added in the 18th century.
