Cathedral of Saint Joan of Arc in France, Rouen resort
Rating: 8,8/10 (1039 votes)  Cathedral of Saint Jeanne d ’ Arc – cathedral, erected on the square of the Old Market in Rouen, on the site of the execution of the national heroine. Jeanne d'Arc was canonized by the church in 1920, and already in 1979 a cathedral was built in her honor. Stained glass from the 16th century draws attention to the cathedral. In addition, the cathedral itself resembles a fire in its outlines. The church was almost completely destroyed during the Second World War, so that it acquired its present appearance in the 70s of the XX century, after reconstruction and restoration.
