Roman theater in Tunis, Carthage resort
Rating: 8,3/10 (3784 votes)  The Roman theater is located on a hillside that overlooks the sea. It was built in the 2nd century. The theater could accommodate about 5 thousand people. The stage of the theater is slightly raised, despite its centuries-old history, even a semblance of stage backdrops has been preserved. At the moment, the Roman theater is almost completely restored and is used as the main arena of the film festival and a venue for various outdoor performances.
