It is a complex of buildings that were built between 1689 and 1888 according to the design of Bernini's pupil Carlo. Today the monastery houses a Jesuit college. There is a church at the monastery, the height of the dome of which reaches 65 meters. It was built under the direction of the architect Joaquin de Churriguera, and is considered one of the best similar churches throughout Spain. It was completed only by the middle of the 18th century. Inside, the church is decorated with semi-precious stones and marble. Luxurious altar is made in the Baroque style with a silver statue of Saint Ignatius.
