Historical Museum of Strasbourg – a unique exposition located in the heart of the Old Town. The uniqueness of this museum lies in the fact that it occupies an entire street of the Medieval part of the city. Once this street was called Market Street, and the specific place where the museum is located was called the Meat Rows. They were built in 1587 and existed in this form for a century and a half. Several museum buildings, completely restored in the 50s of the XX century, mark three milestones in the history of the city of Strasbourg. In the first building, you can see exhibits dedicated from the birth of the state on these lands to the 15th century. The second building is dedicated to Strasbourg as a key city in eastern France. And the last building reflects the modern history of the city, dedicated to its eminent residents. Among the exhibits of the museum, for example, you can see agricultural implements of the 10th century, as well as a unique photo chronicle of the Second World War.
