Rating: 7,8/10 (4312 votes) This square is a neo-Moorish urban ensemble. It appeared in the southern part of Seville before the Spanish American Exhibition in 1929. Architect Anibal Gonzalez worked on the square. There is a fountain in the very center of the square, and there are niches in the buildings around the square that are dedicated to the Spanish provinces. The plaza's decor combines art deco and Moorish elements. Several episodes of the movie Star Wars II: Attack of the Clones were filmed in the Plaza de Espana in Seville.
