Town Hall Tower in Germany, Munster Resort
Rating: 7,6/10 (340 votes)  The Munster Town Hall Tower is a city tower located on Principalmarkt. Unlike the Munster Town Hall, the tower was practically not damaged during the Second World War. The tower was built at the beginning of the 20th century. The construction of the structure began in 1902 and lasted for 5 years. The author of the project is the architect Alfred Hensen. Before the tower, warehouses and pharmacies were located here, which were demolished for its construction. At the end of construction, a telephone exchange was located in the tower. In 2001, a bell ringing system was installed in the tower. Nowadays, bell ringing can be heard three times a day – at 11:00, 15:00 and 19:00.
