The temple is located near the Santa Trinita Bridge. The temple was built in 1258 – 1280 years. In the years 1593-1594, reconstruction work was carried out in the temple, which was led by Bernardo Buontalenti. During this period, the Mannerist facade was renovated. The design of the main doors, which depicts the saints of the Vallombrosian order, was developed in the 17th century by the sculptors Giovanni Battista Caccini and Pietro Bernini. The Church of Santa Trinita is famous for its chapel, which today houses frescoes by Domenico Ghirlandaio.
