The author of the project was the architect Giuliano da Sangallo. The building was modeled on the Palazzo Medici Riccardi. The construction date of the palazzo was set for August 1492, but the work was delayed for another 47 years. Strozzi died before the construction of the palace was completed. The facade of the building was faced with convex stone blocks. The cornice was made by the architect Kronak. The palace currently hosts art exhibitions, fashion shows and other cultural events.
