Palazzo Barbaro is a complex of two adjacent palazzo located in the San Marco area, on the Grand Canal. Near Palazzo Barbaro is the Cavalli-Franchetti Palace.
The palazzo was built for the Barbaro family. The first Gothic palace was built in 1425. The author of the project was Giovanni Bon. In 1694, the second baroque palace was designed, the architect of which is Antonio Gaspari.
