Glass Museum in the Czech Republic, Harrachov Spa
Rating: 7,7/10 (2354 votes)  Today Harrachov Glass Factory is the second most important and oldest glass enterprise in the country. The construction of the factory was carried out in 1712. A unique cutting workshop has survived to this day, the history of which goes back over 100 years. The factory still uses the traditional glass processing method. All equipment is in almost original condition, and continues to work in those days. In a peculiarly built-up area of the plant, there is an exposition of traditional glass production. Visitors are offered a fascinating excursion, during which you can watch the emergence of masterpieces, made by master glassmakers. Inspection of the plant acquaints with the full cycle of glass processing. There is also a glass shop on the territory of the plant, where you can buy any glass product you like as a gift to friends and family. The store has an engraving workshop where experienced craftsmen will apply any drawing or inscription to the customer's product.
