The Doctor's Monument, located in the central part of a small cozy park, was erected in honor of the Russian military personnel, doctors and other medical workers who died during the Russian-Turkish war (1877-1878).

Designing the monument the architect A.I. Tomishko, the project was led by the Italian Luigi Farabosco. The construction of the monument lasted from 1882 to 1884. The monument was built of sandstone and granite.

The base of the monument has the shape of a truncated pyramid. The monument itself is a square, square, with a plinth located on it, and bronze wreaths. Here on the rocks you can see the names of soldiers who died during the war.
