Originally, the Jacques Vienne Pagoda was a simple hut with a thatched roof, designed to worship the goddess Bodhisattva. In 1850, this small building was converted into a pagoda by master Kwan-Yin.

Today, the Jacques Vienne Pagoda is a working museum, which contains many prints and statues of the XIX – XX centuries.
