Zach Vien Pagoda, built in the 18th century, still retains the unique atmosphere of that time. The founder of the pagoda was Hai Tin Zak Vien, after whom it got its name. The pagoda is located in a slum area on the outskirts of Ho Chi Minh City.

Currently, Zak Vien Pagoda is a unique museum, which contains more than 150 engravings and statues of the XIX – XX centuries. There are also twenty hospitable monks in the temple complex.
