Oriental Pearl TV Tower in China, Shanghai Resort

The base of the TV tower is steel pipes with a diameter of 9 meters. 11 steel red balls of different sizes are inscribed in the structure of the tower. Due to the fact that these balls resemble pearls, the tower got its name. The tower was built on October 1, 1994. In such a short time, it has already become a symbol of Shanghai, as well as a complex that combines restaurants, shops, entertainment centers, hotels and much more. You can move from floor to floor with using six high-speed elevators. It also has the only double-deck elevator in all of China, which has a capacity of 50 people. The first observation deck is located at a height of 263 meters, the next one - at a height of 360 meters. At an altitude of 267 meters, the highest revolving restaurant in Asia is located. The Pearl of Shanghai is always very crowded, you have to squeeze through the crowd to take photos. It is not worth visiting the tower on Chinese holidays and on weekends, as these days there are especially a lot of people. The entrance ticket to the tower builds from 100 to 180 RMB (depends on the level you want to visit).
