The tomb of King David is located on the ground floor of this architectural structure. The stone sarcophagus of the tomb is covered from above with a special veil on which the sacred Torah scrolls are displayed. According to legend, this place was once hidden jewelry, which provoked repeated destruction of the tomb by the hunters for untold riches. The chamber of the Last Supper was built in the 12th century, for a long time it functioned as a church called Our Lady. In the 15th century it was reformed into a mosque, retaining all its Gothic architectural features. Currently, this cultural monument is supervised by the government of the country, and there is no charge for entering this building.
