On the mountain is the Forty-Day Monastery, built in the 4th century AD, where a constant influx of pilgrims does not dry up. The monastery has suffered a number of destruction in the course of its history and has also been repeatedly restored. The church at the monastery is called the Church of the Temptation of the Lord, its peculiarity lies in the fact that it is located inside a cave.
