China Medical Science Museum, Hong Kong Resort

This museum is located in the building where the Pathological Institute, founded to fight the 1984 bubonic plague, was formerly located. At that time, Chinese patients were treated in basement rooms. And the British – upstairs. Some of the rooms have been preserved in their original form, including the laboratory and the autopsy room. Many of them are filled with antique medical instruments. Other rooms have exhibitions that show developments in medical fields such as dental treatment, radiology and many others.
