Villa Bergese is a large landscaped park, created in the natural English style. Villa Borghese is the third largest public park in Rome. The park also has various attractions.

There are several buildings in the park, and there are also museums. The Galleria Borghese is worth a visit, which houses a rich collection of works of art. The gallery was built under Cardinal Shipion Borghese. The gallery took its modern form in the 18th century under Marcantonio Borghese, who gave it a neoclassical style.

Also interesting is the National Museum of Villa Giulia, which displays the largest collection of Etruscan art ... The museum is a former country residence of the popes. The building was built in 1550-1555 in the style of mannerism, especially for Pope Julius III. Nowadays, the villa is only part of the former residence, which previously formed a complex of three buildings. On the ground floor, you can observe items brought from the Etruscan necropolises – figurines, urns, sarcophagi. Other halls display reconstructions of models of Etruscan cities, sculpture from Wei and much more.

The National Gallery of Modern Art has a collection of paintings from the 19th century to ours. time.

Previously, this land belonged to the Borghese family, in whose honor a beautiful park was laid out in the 17th century. In the 19th century, part of the park acquired an English style. At the beginning of the 20th century, the park was acquired by the state and donated to the city.
