The area of this well-kept park is almost 6 hectares. The botanical garden was created back in 1864, but the zoological garden was opened in 1975, only a hundred years later. Now the park looks almost the same as when it was created.

The territory of the park is divided into two parts by Albany Road. Animals live in the western part, and birds fly and plants grow in the eastern part.

About 900 birds of 280 species live in the park. Their territory is fenced with a large netting, which will allow the birds to feel quite free.

A huge number of animals also live here, including kangaroos, leopards, jaguars, huge turtles, black panthers, lemurs, as well as red-cheeked gibbons, the collection of which is the largest in the world.

The main entrance to the park is located on Upper Albert Road. The entrance to the park is free. The Zoological and Botanical Gardens are open from 6 am to 7 pm every day.
