Church of St. Michael the Archangel in Montenegro, Herceg Novi resort
Rating: 8,3/10 (3544 votes)  This church is one of the most beautiful in Herceg Novi. She is small in size and relatively new, her age does not exceed 130 years. You can see it by coming to the upper square of the Old Town called Belavista (or Duke Stefan Square). The originality of the church lies in the fact that several architectural schools found expression in it at once: Byzantine, Gothic-Romanesque and even Islamic. At the same time, all these heterogeneous elements create a single harmonious impression. Inside you can admire the magnificent marble iconostasis, unique icons of the famous Czech artist Franjo Sigler.
