From XIV – Xo citadel is the center of the former capital of the state in the 15th century. From the 16th to the 18th centuries, the citadel was the economic, cultural and political center of the northern region of Vietnam. The citadel consists of stone walls, which were lined with huge stone blocks, the outer defensive wall of the citadel and the altar of Namzhao. In addition, successive cultural layers discovered underground store information about temples, palaces, decorative arts, roads, as well as ancient villages.
